What is Eversense 365?

Eversense 365 is a CGM, aka sensor, that is changing the way individuals manage their diabetes. Unlike traditional sensors that need to be replaced every 10 – 15 days, Eversense 365 is a small implantable sensor that stays in the upper arm for a full year. This is implanted in a quick procedure conducted by a certified healthcare provider. The sensor is small, measuring ¾ inches long and ⅙ inches wide. Once the sensor is securely implanted, it will stay in place all year long without you having to worry about it falling off. This can be a great choice for those with an active lifestyle or in contact sports.

🛈 Along with the sensor, each individual will have a “Smart Transmitter”. This device pairs directly with the sensor in the arm and can be easily removed from the skin whenever needed, for example while showering. The transmitter communicates to the sensor even in the absence of your cell phone. It will also provide vibrations on the arm to alert you of out-of-range blood sugars. This lends peace of mind knowing you will still get these vibration alerts when your phone is not nearby.

How to Qualify for this CGM?

🛈 To be eligible for the Eversense Continous Glucose Monitor, there are a few requirements that must be met:
✔ 18 years or older
✔ Currently using insulin to manage your diabetes or have a history of severe low blood sugars
✔ Have insurance coverage for the procedure and device
