This study is for those with Type 1 Diabetes and a BMI of 27 or greater. Participants will add an once daily injection of either an investigational study medication or placebo to their current insulin therapy. The purpose of the study is to look at the effect the study medication has on weight and Type 1 Diabetes management, as well as evaluate the safety of the medication.
Participants in this study will have a 75% (3 in 4) chance of receiving the study drug and a 25% (1 in 4) chance of receiving placebo.
