A new research study for people with excess weight and Type 2 Diabetes.
About The Study
This study is for participants with excess weight and Type 2 Diabetes who are willing to participate in medical research. The study will last up to 1 year and 3 months, with up to 16 planned study visits. Participants will administer two once-weekly study injections (investigational medicines or placebo).
To take part in the study, participants should be:
- Have a BMI of 27 kg/m2 or more
- Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes for at least 6 months
- Using diet and exercise alone or taking Metformin with or without an SGLT2 medications
What Is a Study?
- A clinical study helps advance the future of diabetes! Research patients try new meds or devices not yet available to the public, at no cost to them.
- Research patients meet with a study coordinator and doctor multiple times to monitor them.
- Each visit, patients are compensated for travel expenses.
- Study patients must meet a list of criteria in order to be a part of a study.
- A study can last anywhere from six months to a few years.
